Hi, I’m Lex.
(she/Her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#125072) and EMDR trained psychotherapist based out of Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Michigan and spent the majority of my adult life in Chicago, IL where I earned my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a Los Angeles transplant, I have really been able to grow into myself and my career.
I have worked in diverse settings, providing support to children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those from marginalized communities impacted by systemic barriers. Being of mixed ethnicity, I have come to deeply resonate with clients experiencing difficulties with identity and connection to self, others and the world.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I enjoy relaxing with my dogs, Frank and Cobain, and my cat, Atticus. I love all things comedy and if you couldn’t tell by my page, I am a plant enthusiast! I absolutely love living in Los Angeles and spend as much time outdoors as I can.
